BARBIE GOING BOATING 1973-1976 SEARS EXCLUSIVE ISSUE BOAT MINT IN BOX: very hard to find rare set includes near mint - mint boat, trailer, hitch, motor, middle seat, back seat, fishing rod with line, hook with fish attached, two oars, tackle box & all decals. Original shipping carton included. Displays great with your orange Dune Buggy. $50 photo photo photo photo
BARBIE MERCEDES BENZ CONVERTIBLE 1964: Irwin Corporation, overall near mint car, turquoise blue with orange seats, clear plastic windshield (one crack in it), chrome steering wheel (worn off so now looks like brown grain leather), white wall tires and painted chrome grill and headlights. Great rare car & hard to find. $50 photo photo
BARBIE SPORTS PLANE 1964: Irwin Corporation very rare airplane made for Barbie. Fabulous plane features a snap on nose cone, "chrome trim pieces", rotating propeller, lightening designs on the wing tips, triple exhaust pipes, radio, antenna, dual steering controls, fold up landing gear, cockpit seat, identification numbers (pointed tip partially missing off both "n's), windshield (some light scratches at random). Chrome pieces show moderate wear from age. Body of plane and seats look excellent overall showing very little wear. There is a crack in the underside of the turquoise body of the plane where the wings fit in the slots, shown in one close up photo. It's possible this could be glued. I had this plane suspended from the ceiling in my Barbie room with clear fishing line and the crack in the bottom really didn't show plus never got any worse. It was this way when I bought it back in the 1980's. It's a fantastic piece for putting Barbie in American Airlines outfit and Ken in Airlines Captain outfits. This piece is very rare and hard to find in undamaged condition. This one is as nice as I've seen. $450 photo photo photo photo photo photo photo photo photo
KEN HOT ROD SPORTS CAR 1963 IN BOX: Irwin Corporation, hot rod for Barbie, Ken & Midge. Hot rod is complete with all pieces in great condition, no breaks or repairs on anything, listed near mint due to small amount of wear on chrome pieces (this is normal with age...if you find one that is without wear to silver, it's probably been repainted). This is in original condition and very clean overall, no problems whatsoever. The original box is present, shows minor shelf wear on edges and top of box has some light discoloration at random. The cello window has been replaced with new acetate but the original cello is also here. I will include it if the buyer wants it but it does have some tears, holes and somewhat filmy or dirty. The inside of the box is in very nice condition with no worn graphics. Great piece! $225 photo photo photo photo photo photo photo photo

The inside of the structure has some wear on the white floor area in front (rubbed graphics shown in photo). There are two light brown stains in the back area of the floor, one on each edge of the floor of the structure, about 1 inch square. Also a 1" piece of cardboard missing over the corner of the closet area. The outside of the house has worn areas of graphics, mainly on the bottom underside, edges and corners at random. There is a moderate amount of wear o the outside walls, not real noticeable as it blends with the white graphics but does show wear from sliding and storing the house. The inside walls are very clean. Both metal clasps are there and work fine. $90 photo photo photo photo photo photo

This is so cute displayed with 1970's dolls. As far as I know this is complete and near mint with the exception of the center pink pole. It has a pretty big melt on one side so has melted two rims of the pink spiral however the seat still goes around but skips quicker over the melted areas, pole leans slightly. The yellow seats rotate around to display Skipper or Tutti in all kinds of cute positions. Great set and very hard to find. $35 photo photo photo photo

BARBIE OR MIDGE SUSY GOOSE FOUR POSTER BED AND HOPE CHEST PARTS 1963:
Pink polka dotted swiss plastic pillow near mint-mint, no obvious flaws. $2 photo
Hope chest, yellowed on outside otherwise excellent with no flaws. $4 photo photo
BARBIE REGAL BED 1965 RAREST OF RARE FURNITURE PIECES EVER MADE BY SUSY GOOSE FOR BARBIE: 1965 Regal Bed, with only a few of these known in the world as of date. Advertised in 1965 as a bed fit for Sleeping Beauty, yes, for the ultimate Princess Barbie. The bed was designed to resemble a crown, trimmed with a twisted rope pattern and brushed with gold. The headboard and footboard are lined with gold metallic paper which is decorated with cream colored highly stylized flower and leaf designs, with tiny pale yellow speckles over the gold area, so elegant! The headboard, footboard and mattress are all near mint, no obvious flaws. The bedspread is plain red taffeta trimmed with white fringe and a matching pillow. The condition of the bedspread is excellent, shows some dark lines of discoloration on the top of the bedspread and a few water spots (tiny) near the bottom. These really don't show much at all. I have never tried to clean the bedspread just for fear it might become worse so left it in it's original state. There are two tiny staple holes near the top where the pillow was originally attached, matching two similar holes in the backside of the pillowcase. Old masking type tape holds the pillow case closed, foam pillow inside. There is old stretched out elastic sewn to the back of the bedspread which would have held it from slipping around on the mattress. I find the bedspread really doesn't slip around anyway and just tuck the elastic underneath when displayed. This piece has actually been displayed inside a plastic bag just to keep it as clean as possible while I owned it for the past 20 years. This is one of the crown jewels in the Barbie world and a great investment and addition for the advanced collector. $1200.00 photo photo photo photo photo photo photo photo

PAPER PRODUCTS & MISCELLANEOUS: PAPER DOLLS, GAMES & MORE |
|
|
|
| Photos above are examples of paper dolls produced by Mattel. Below are items currently for sale. |
BARBIE & KEN PAPER DOLLS Whitman 1974: set includes two paper dolls with plastic stands, 31 piece Sun Valley wardrobe, precut clothes, no scissors needed. Complete with only a couple of tiny tears in an outfit or two, one has tape mark and plastic stand has split with tape, otherwise looks unused and in great condition. Many 1974 Best Buy outfits shown in this set! Box has bright graphics but shows light wear overall with shelf wear to edges and light soiling, one corner split. $10 photo photo
BARBIE BEDSPREAD TWIN SIZE MOD 1970'S: twin size cotton bedspread pink & white gingham check with printed Barbie, Steffie, PJ and Francie figures, top measures 38" x 82", gathered sides drop 19", slits in bottom corners to allow for bed posts. Matching pillow sham measures 25" x 31". Overall condition is excellent, no tears or stains on both pieces. This was photographed on a full size bed (sorry that is the smallest we have to photograph the bedspread on) so it doesn't fit correctly but you can see what the overall design looks like & would look fabulous on a twin bed. It reminds me of the Sleep n Keep Case for Barbie that is all pink gingham check inside! Very VERY rare early item, so hard to find. $95 photo photo photo photo
BARBIE CHILD SIZE HALLOWEEN COSTUME 1963: extremely rare child's Halloween costume shows Barbie in Queen of the Prom along with 5 other pink printed on outfits. The dress is blue fabric (like taffeta or acetate) with pink printed figures and pink bias trim at the neck and sleeve hems. There are tons of stars, swirling bands and Queen of the Prom head all done in glittering silver. There are no holes in the fabric but there are areas of darker discoloration on the back and front that looks like a slight problem with unstable dyes in the fabric as well as some small water dots if held in extreme bright light. These blend into the folds of the dress fairly well. Two original ribbon ties are on the back for closures. Measurements on this dress: waist 25 - 26 inches, bodice across chest 30 inches, from shoulder to waist 13 inches and length of skirt from waist to hem 22 inches. This is a very rare piece that the advanced collector will appreciate. $75 photo photo photo
BARBIE DISPLAY CASE: beautiful brand new mint in box display case never used, originally sold with Bob Mackie Gold Barbie in the 1990's, high quality clear lucite with black accents, for your extra special doll. The back panel slides out so you may display Barbie on her stand (also included). The back two sided panel is black flocked on one side and white on the other (shown in the photos). $45 photo photo photo

Inside has a pop up birthday cake with candles, to Theresa, from Susan. Includes original outer envelope as well, torn but there. Card is excellent, clean condition overall with no tears or stains, by American Greetings, Very RARE. $15 photo photo
BARBIE GREETING CARD 1966: Birthday Card shows Ponytail Barbie on front, Design a Vacation Wardrobe for Barbie. Inside has a section that removes for Barbie cut out clothes. These were to be colored or painted as you wish. Inside section has never been removed. Card signed Love, Lynn & Bobby. Near mint condition overall with light bleeding along metal staples in edges otherwise perfect. American Greetings very RARE Card. $15 photo photo photo photo
BARBIE HAND MIRROR TWIST N TURN FLIP BARBIE: hot pink hand mirror shows beautiful brunette twist and turn flip Barbie, mirror on back with little plastic framing border (slight chips on edges otherwise looks great). $2 photo
BARBIE HEIRLOOM SERVICE PLAYSET NRFB: extremely rare from 1962. Includes: full set of gold silverware (plastic): six spoons, six knives, six forks, six soup spoons, 1 ladle, 1 butter knife, 1 cake server, 1 meat fork, 1 large serving spoon and two candleholders. There are a few pieces that have a little "tarnish" at random but overall these look mint. This set has been stored in the box for years as I purchased it this way many years ago so I am certain it has never been removed. The original cellophane display windows look perfect with only a small area loose on one edge. This piece is unglued around the box bottom window frame along the back hinged edge. It needs to be glued back in place. I'll let the new owner do it if they want to. You can see this clearly in photo number 2 where the cardboard shows through the bottom window, not a huge deal but will take some glue if it matters to the buyer. There is one small glued tear in the cardboard bottom window at the front edge. The box itself is in excellent condition considering the complexity of the design. There is wear on the edges, mainly on the flaps. Some of them are torn & need repair. This was a rather complicated little box so I had just left it as it was when I purchased it and displayed it the way it is. There was obviously some sort of tab on the front that would have served to keep the lid and bottom closed. It is missing. Note the photo showing this area. All in all, the box looks nice and this is a great piece that is very rare. $75 photo photo photo photo photo photo photo
BARBIE JUKE BOX: never removed from package die cast juke box, 1976 Durham Industries, measures 3" tall x 2" wide painted gold. $5 photo

Quick Curl Skipper paper doll (crease in neck & light creases in arms, 4 outfits show minor wear. Francie and clothing are all missing from this set. The original owner of this set signed her name on the inside of the tote. Otherwise the tote looks nice with bright graphics, folded edge has some wear and split on inside for a few inches. This set is good for parts needed to complete a better set. There are a lot of pieces here but since the folder doesn't state how many pieces are actually supposed to come with it, I'm not sure what is missing. $5 photo photo
