Barbie debuts on Nash Bridges March 2001: I loaned this car to the Nash Bridges TV series for an episode that aired on March 30, 2001. It included the following Barbie, car and box shown below. It was only a few seconds of fame for the vinyl goddess and her car, nevertheless lots of fun! Included was a beautiful mint in box platinum blonde Bubble Cut Barbie, along with the loan of my personal mint in box Austin Healey, Barbie’s first car. The props department revised my box a little, with the use of some special made “Barbie” packaging tape. I have shown it here in the photos along with a couple of photos of Cheech, holding Barbie in the car. It appears he is trying to blow her a kiss.  

The two dolls on the left are Barbie bubblecut clones, named Debbie. Original Mattel Barbie on right. Notice how the clone wedding gowns are so similar to Mattel's.
